What is Maison Berger?

Maison Berger of Paris was invented in Paris in 1898 to kill bacteria in hospitals. Then in the 1930’s they got together with Coco Chanel and added a fragrance to it. It is alcohol based, you add it to the lamp, filling it 2/3 of the way full. You then put the wick in, and let it soak for 30 minutes. You then light the stone, and let it burn for two minutes. You blow it out. In two minutes it’s gotten to 930 degrees. It will purify the air. It will pull in the impurities in the air and kill them. It’s a catalyst. At the end of a half an hour, you cap it. It’s done it’s job, it’s cleansed your air, and will make your house smell good for the rest of the day.
